HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY


AADHAAR:

ü The Andhra Pradesh High Court expressed its anguish on the governments linking Aadhaar to various services.
ü It took a serious note on collecting higher amounts and depositing the subsidy in the concerned bank account. The court asked why to collect more money and then to return the subsidy into the account?




EC NOTICE TO MODI AFTER RAHUL:

ü EC – Election Commission.
ü The EC did not accept the reply that is given by Rahul Gandhi is a response to the notice issued by the commission.
ü The EC expressed its displeasure with the tone, tenor and content of Rahul Gandhi’s poll speeches accusing BJP if instigating one community against the other.
ü The EC advised him to be more circumspect in future.
ü The EC on November 13, 2013 issued notice to Narendra Modi over his reference to Congress as “Khooni Panja” (bloodied hand) and “Zaalim Haath”.

COMMISSIONER OF POLICE – CYBERABAD (AP)

ü The Commissioner also acts as an additional district magistrate.
ü He invoked section 107 (security for keeping peace in other cases) of CrPC (Criminal Procedure Code) for the first time in this jurisdiction.
ü The commissioner C V Anand summoned four groups against whom several complaints were lodged.
ü They were bound over for a year and made them execute bonds for RS 25,000/- for each person to keep public peace and tranquility.

WORLD DIABETES DAY:


ü The World observes World diabetes day on November 14 every year.
ü The world lightens up blue colour that designates colour for diabetes.
ü ‘Taj Mahal’ is also soaked in blue light to mark awareness.


THE SC REVISITED ITS ORDER:

ü SC – Supreme Court
ü The SC stopped the BMC (Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation) from demolition of the campa cola flats till May 31, 2014.
ü Earlier the apex court ordered for the demolition of the same.
ü But after the protest from the people and reports from media the SC revisited its order.
