COMPLAINT OF MOLESTATION AND WITHDRAWAL AGAINST AN MP

ü Actress Shweta Menon lodged a complaint against Congress party Lok Sabha member from Kollam constutuency Peethambara Kurup.
ü The police charged Kurup with IPC (Indian Penal Code) sections 354 and 354 (A) for assault or criminal force against a woman with intent to outrage her modesty.
ü Later the actress made a statement that she is withdrawing complaint in the view of regret expressed by Peethambara Kurup for offending her feelings.
